Dr. Bears established Zoetica based on a heartfelt desire to provide superior environmental consulting services done by experts in their fields, and to provide all services through a pragmatic, interdisciplinary lens. We believe that the problems facing our environment should be thoroughly understood in order to provide effective solutions. However, human tendencies towards territoriality and myopia in consulting, scientific research, and business often get in the way of this goal. Dr. Bears works to break down artificial barriers between complimentary scientific disciplines, sectors, and businesses, and uses the foremost experts in academic, consulting, public, not-for profit, Aboriginal, and private sectors, across many disciplines, to get the most reliable answers and novel solutions for evaluating and addressing environmental issues.
